Clean Water

As we have previous mentioned, our executive director was able to travel to Cambodia and see first hand the need for clean water. She was able to personally donate funds for a water well and RJS then also sponsored one well.

It has been on Cynthia’s heart to find ways to provide clean water.

Recently, RJS had a phone call with World Vision. World Vision has a 75 year history and is in over 100 countries. In some areas, health clinics and hospitals do not even have clean water.

World Vision did a study in one area and found that women were losing 200 million hours just to walk back and forth to get clean water. In some areas, it is an 11 mile hike to get clean water. Just $50 dollars provides clean water for one individual for life.

RJS is excited to see if there is potential to partner with World Vision to provide clean water.
