Dreaming
We recently had the opportunity to reconnect with World Vision.
Our executive director and co- founder, Cynthia, has had it laid on her heart since traveling to Asia about the impact of clean water. Cynthia was able to support a well in Cambodia in honor of her uncle and kept feeling the tug that more could be done.
Through a connection from Northview Church, RJS was able to meet virtually with World Vision and most recently we were able to have a lunch together and then connect further virtually to dream about a possible partnership in Ghana.
RJS was blown away by the work World Vision does. In certain parts of the world, they can lose up to 5% of the population of children due to a lack of clean water. Clean water is foundational.
We were able to hear from Dr. Greg Allgood, who is their VP of Water and Health, who just recently visited Ghana. He shared with us that most of the issues that are seen at their health centers in these areas are preventable by clean water.
As we sat and dreamt of possiblities, we were also so grateful for the “scarlet threads” throughout our conversations.
Here’s to new possible projects and further leaving a legacy.
