Recently, our friends at Shepherd Academy hosted their first school wide spelling bee for their students.

After the spelling bee in each grade level, twelve champions gathered for a championship. The students spelling for 12 rounds and they celebrated a lower-elementary and upper- elementary winner.

Shepherd also had a generous family donate so they could take 59 middle and high school students to Perfect North Slopes.

Students and staff look forward to this trip each year as they build relationships and spend time with friends and trusted mentors. Many of these students would otherwise never have the opportunity to ski, snowboard or tub on the slopes without the generosity of this donor family.
