SOCCER!

Earlier in the month of April, our partners, Shepherd Community Center, held a soccer-themed reading adventure- they said the energy was electric!

Students and their families moved through stations set up around the building, where each activity combined learning with fun. They made snacks and crafts by following written instructions, dribbled soccer balls through a maze of sight words, set personal reading goals, and even scored goals to celebrate their success. Families also gathered to read soccer-themed books together, making literacy a team effort.

Drawings were held throughout the event for amazing book give aways. Shepherd had more than 200 in attendance for the event.
