Tanesha, one of the ladies living in Brookside’s Women’s and Children Isaiah House, recently gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. RJS was able to meet Tanesha and hear her story in December.

Brookside shared that both Tanesha and Aaliyah and happy, healthy and living stably back at home. Tanesha joined the Brookside program in the fall of 2025 after her release. She was struggling at the time, she was six months pregnant, without steady employment and struggling to secure a safe place to live. Brookside provided Tanesha with employment resources, supportive community and safe housing for herself and her baby.

RJS partnered with Brookside to help start the first Isaiah House for women. Brookside is now currently looking at raising funds to open another house for women.
