Together

Two of our partners were brought together again, Agape Therapeutic Riding and Mephibosheth (they are in the process of changing their name to Empowered Abilities).

We have helped facilitate Agape bringing their mini horses to Mephibosheth on a few occasions, however, recently, Mephibosheth had the opportunity to go to Agape’s current location.

While they were there, our friends had the opportunity to tour the facility and receive an important lesson on boundaries. Our friends learned about how so many boundaries we have and want are similar to the horses. Boundaries like not yelling, personal space and not startling us are important for people and horses.

While they were there, they also learned about several of the items needed to help take care of the horses and they had the opportunity to pet, brush and interact with the horses.

I think it is safe to say, it was an enjoyable outing.

Our friends always love visiting, learning abot and connecting with local organizations. At RJS, we love connecting partners and other organizations as well.
