While we cannot visit our international partners on a weekly or monthly basis, we often schedule Zoom calls where we can connect with our partners and here how things are progressing in their areas.

Recently, we were able to connect with our friends at NRN. They were sharing with us how much our support to their medical program means to them and the families. RJS currently helps assist financially for medicines for some of their special needs students in Nicaragua. These prescriptions are not covered by insurance and are necessary and impact quality of life, such as anti-seizure medications.

RJS helps cover costs for 27 Agape students’ medications out of the 202 students that NRN serves. Dr. Karla shared on our call that they have 8 more families who have applied and would benefit from this support. RJS has decided to move forward with our assistance adding the additional 8 families.

We also receive pictures and updates for students who are sponsored through NRN. We love to see the smiling faces and hear the stories of growth.
