Way to go, Dylan

Dylan, a 5th grader at Shepherd Community Academy, was honored at an Indiana Pacers game as a recipient of the Abrams Academic Achievement Award.

At the start of the year, Dylan was living in a mental health crisis, struggling not just with school, but with his home life as well. Through Shepherd’s wraparound support and his own determination, he is now thriving. In just 5 months, his reading jumped to an 8th grade level and he has become a leader among his peers.

Shepherd is so proud of Dylan and excited to see how he continues to grow and succeed.
